What a Windy November in Spain!
November 2019 was one of the months with the highest #wind generation on record.
Does that sound to dramatical electricity drop price, as we usually see across Europe?
No: Spanish Daily Market is showing us that is it possible to contain price drops into acceptable ranges: this month wind captured price only dropped to 95%, and there is no month below 90% sin 2016.
The rise of renewable sector in Spain is a fact, and it will necessarily have an impact on Daily Market price: the so-called “renewable cannibalization” will not happen as it is usually presented.
